東京都品川区の、ウオーターフロントの再開発街区、天王洲アイル。天王洲は海中の土砂が堆積して出来た土地だと言われています。あなたは日本の「バブル景気」を知っていますか？バブル景気の末期の１９９０年代に、ウオーターフロントの再開発が進みました。

#TennozuIsle of #Shinagawa-ku, #Tokyo 's redevelopment waterfront district. It is said that the #Tennozu is a land made by sedimentation under the sea.

近年、天王洲はかつての倉庫街から、東京で最先端のアートの島になりました。「水辺とアート」をキーワードに、街づくりを推進しているといいます。

Nawadays, #Tennozu became the most advanced art island in #Tokyo from the former warehouse town. #Tennozu Isle promotes town planning based on " #waterfront and art" as a key word.

最寄り駅は、東京モノレール羽田空港線・東京臨海高速鉄道りんかい線の天王洲アイル駅ですが、実はJR品川駅から運河沿いを歩いて行くこともできます（行き方は後述します）。

The nearest station is the #TennozuIslestation on the #Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Line, Tokyo Rinkai High-speed Railway Line Line, but in reality it is possible to walk along the canal from JR #Shinagawa Station (the directions will be explained later).

3月9日に午前中に訪れたところ、島はこんな様子でした。この日の空は晴れ渡って、人々はウッドデッキで土曜のブランチを楽しんでいました。

JR品川駅から天王洲方面の歩き方（徒歩15～20分くらい）
How to walk from JR Shinagawa station towards Tennozu (about 15 to 20 minutes on foot)

新幹線の停車駅でもある、JR品川駅から天王洲アイルまでの行き方を説明します。まず品川駅の港南口に向かいます。非常に広い駅です。

I will explain directions from JR Shinagawa station to Tennozu Isle, which is also a stop station of the #Shinkan-sen, bullet train. There is a very wide station. You head for "Exit toward Konan" at Shinagawa station.

品川駅を背に、右手方面が天王洲アイル方面です。品川駅の港南口近辺には高層オフィスビルが多く並んでいるので、その中のひとつ、品川インターシティを観光しながら歩いてもいいでしょう。ビルの中にはカフェやレストランもあります。

It is towards Tennozu Isle on the right hand side with Shinagawa station behind. Since many high-rise office buildings are lined up near Shinagawa station 's port north mouth, you can walk while exploring one of them, Shinagawa Inter City. There are cafe and restaurant in the building.

ビルを端まで歩いたら、道路に出ましょう。この地図で赤く示してある位置です。建物を右手に直進し、道路に突き当たったら左折します。そのまままっすぐ、広い道路に突き当たるまで歩きます。もうすぐです。

After walking to the edge of the building, let's go to the road. It is a position shown red in this map. Go straight ahead on the building and turn left at the street. Continue straight and walk until you hit a wide road. It is nearing.

この信号が目印です。楽水橋交差点の横断歩道を渡って、そのまままっすぐ細い道を進んでください。楽水橋が見えてきます。

This signal is a landmark. Cross the pedestrian crossing at Raku Mizuhashi intersection, please proceed on a narrow road as it is. You can see the Rakusuibashi, bridge.
