Ok, well that’s stuck.
yesterday afternoon was a royal cluster f.
I tried to leave early at 2:30 to go fetch Ella from school but had issues reversing the car, I decided to go forward, big mistake, now my car is kinda partly stuck until the weather changes and the ground becomes dry again, could be a few days before that is the case.
It’s not like I use it a lot but yeah, that’s the current situation, stuck in the grass, luckily ella got picked up and dropped off yesterday and has a lift today as well, I won’t use the car till after christmas now anyway so it’s not important, I’ve got some some recovery treads coming in Amazon —- just another life lesson before hitting the road I guess, watch where you park it!
after realizing the car was stuck and that I had no fiat currently to enable me to get a cab or something to pick ella up I went in ‘to what you cannot do’ mode and started walking, it’s about 45 minutes to 1 hr to get their in normal conditions but the icy paths made it extra tough to deal with. I got half way with Comms with my daughters mum to sort out pickups etc so my panic and anxiety levels started to drop back to normal.
I dislike the idea of her coming out of school alone with nobody waiting for her, it’s that punctuation mark of my week to get the pickup sorted and was a little down about not being able to step through — that being said it worked out ok in the end and all ended up watching Charlie Brown Christmas together before early sleeps ;)
You got my maximum upvote so you can fix your situation. What you need is a bag of fast setting concrete. Dig under the tire and pour the dry cement under the tire. After 15 minutes you can drive out of the ditch. Good luck.
i've got some tracks coming, don't worry. i'll get her out! :)
I thought Smart is a car that you can just lift and move)
Hope you'll set it free soon.
normally YES! :) but it's stuck in mud atm :)
I saw this video once, it might help in case you need the car soon.
yeah that's really for trucks thou - don't worry i'll sort it! :)
It works for every type of car, I've been told
it would not work on my smart. nowhere near enough room for that to happen in the arch. i've got a solution coming for next week so i'll try that first.
I got stuck in mud a couple times this year. It sucks! Big pain. ... I'd offer advice, but it sounds like you got plans already.
cheers! :) it's ok, feeling no pain now. over it. it can sit there. next to my van. lol.
