Hard Truth - Not Ear Tickling!
2 Timothy 4:3-4
For there shall be a time when they shall not bear sound teaching, but according to their own desires, they shall heap up for themselves teachers tickling the ear, and they shall indeed turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to myths.
His entire Word is truth. As Paul wrote to the Romans, should we continue to sin so grace may abound? God forbid! Yet today we have been told that the Torah (law) is done away with. We have been told we are free to do whatever we want. This is a lie from the pit of hell. Here is my question for all today; If the law was done away with, then how would we know what sin is, and why would we need a Savior? 1 John 3:4 tells us that sin is transgression of the law. He never changes, but we must change our ways to His Ways. We are to be living sacrifices that deny our flesh, instead of living for our flesh and it's desires. The Gospel is hard, it will pierce us, but in the end we will receive everlasting life instead of temporary earthly "pleasures".
The closer we draw to Abba YHVH, the more He will reveal of His heart and His desires to us. We can only draw near to Him through His Son.
