I agree with your comment except for one thing, the free prescriptions. They are not free in any way.
Let me ask it this way: If I didn't want to pay welfare (I'm not english I don't know exactly how it works, maybe it's forced health ensurance or so, but that doesn't matter for the example that is about the force.) what would you personally advocate happen to me?
