RE: Transgender 101: Episode 1; What does it mean to be Transgender?

Very nice Penny. I've been enjoying your postings of late and like the informative, to the point way you put this together in saying we are just people. We're your neighbors, co-workers, friends, aquiantences, the guy or girl sitting next to you on the bus, in the store. Maybe we are mental for expecting we be treated as equal to the rest of the world but in my humble opinion we are better, in that we have looked in the mirror and identified who or what we are and took huge strides to change that person we saw into who we are today. That seems to me to place is ahead of the game in comparison to those who follow the crowd of fear, denial, and abuse, acting violently against those who threaten their manliness or femininity. Ignorance is no excuse and hopefully this posting will shed some light on those intimidated in their darkness.
