Less than a quarter percent of high school students are transgender athletes.

And note again the vast majority of transgender students aren't athletes. In most of these states banning transgender students from sports, there are only a handful of transgender athletes.

In Kentucky, the only known transgender student athlete in the state was banned from playing on the girl's field hockey team she helped create in the first place.

Infamously in one case in Utah, parents filed formal complaints after a girl kept winning, and it resulted in an investigation into whether she was transgender. She was not.
