If archaeologists dug up trans bodies
What if archaeologists dig up the bones of Caitlin Jenner or Chelsea Manning in several centuries’ time? After analysis of their hips, jaw and skull structure, and tendon origins and insertions, would they conclude that they were male or female?
How long do readers think mainstream people in the west will hold to the current idea (according to the zeitgeist) that sex and gender are different or that how one says they feel about their sex affects what others should believe about their sex and about sex in general? How long will people believe or claim that sex and gender are different things?
Would 25th century archaeologists care what 21st century people thought about their sex? Why should they?
