Traffic 101 - Can Anyone Drive Well Any More?

So many bad drivers out there it's no wonder we need so many stop signs, traffic signals, pavement markings etc.

Here's what I find incredible - speeding contributes to many accidents yet every single vehicle available is capable of traveling well above the maximum posted speed limit. The technology exists to make it impossible for a vehicle to travel above the posted speed limit. Why are car companies allowed to sell cars that allow the user to break the law?

Traffic is a paradox really. We need more signals and signs and pavement marking because people disregard the law or can't drive effectively. But the more signals signs and pavement markings we implement, the less and less drivers have to actually think and observe their surroundings. This makes drivers even worse.
