We have these things called bus lanes on most roads (especially major ones). Only buses, taxis and bikes are allowed to use them in peak hour. Helps with the flow.

We have bus lanes on major roads as well. Too bad baby buses don't travel on those roads haha! You know, I'm in two mind about those lanes. But first, a story!!
When I was lost some time ago, I got caught up inadvertently in a bus lane and was flagged down by a cop. I talked my way out of my license being confiscated. The end.
Those lanes do help with the flow, though the mentality of the bus drivers here... Hmmm... Let's just say they're in the leftmost lane, then suddenly careens right when near the bus lane, effectively clogging all the other lanes. I think I have a koan for that incoming, but yeah. I'll leave your creative mind to imagine 15 or 17 buses doing that per hour and what resulting traffic would follow.
