ENLIGHTENED!!!

DING DING DING DING!!! YOU GOT IT!!!

I wanted to name the man 'J', but that would be too on-the-nose. Ugh! I hate those types! I assume they're not even crossing on a proper pedestrian lane right? They do seem like the people who didn't receive hugs when they were kids. I hope they get taught a lesson.

Here, there's the same thing, though I don't think it's as intentional as what's happening there. There are footbridges, but people are too lazy to climb up the stairs to cross them. Instead, they'd rather risk being run over. They think they own the road too! I mean, what is it with these people?

You know the worse thing? Some jaywalkers do it during nighttime, where there are no streetlights, and they wear dark clothing. They think drivers can immediately see them and would automatically stop. Heck, they don't even have the decency to run! They always just take their sweet time crossing.

Thanks for sharing your tale, and for taking the time to comment, my friend! :D

Huzzahhhhhh!!

Yep - not using proper crossings... in fact crossing at the busiest part usually!

Wow, I just find it amazing. Seriously some people must just be tired of life!!

Ouch! One of these days, one angry and/or drunk fellow would get tired of their shenanigans and just steamroll (steemroll?) right through them. I hope they realize the folly of their ways before that happens.

You know, I think it's because they haven't experienced how to drive before. They might not be fully aware that they're not being seen the way they are.

Aw no, they can definitely drive.. they're the ones that also drive around in cars with the blacked out windows and enormous exhaust pipes haha! It's definitely some kind of alpha male gang move.

But you're right... they wouldn't feel so 'alpha' if someone decided they'd had enough and just ploughed right into them... as you say, hopefully they'll stop doing it before that day comes...

Ohhh I guess that doesn't apply to them, but it certainly applies to the ones here. For the ones there, I think they're just compensating for something. Insecurity is a very powerful thing.

It sure is. I think people have a great need to be acknowledged and to belong. I think if these things are absent it's very easy for insecurities to lead to behaviour that can be destructive.

Ow! You hit me right in the feels hahaha! Maybe people manifest it differently? Or maybe these bad driving experiences I'm writing is the destructive behavior that I'm involved with :O

Haha! Aw heck, we all have our own shit to saddle! You don't strike me as someone who has any insecurities to worry about though. :)

Really? Then I do a good job hiding it haha! I appreciate you thinking of me that way. Really though, I'm a bundle of insecurities, I'm just too friendly and outgoing for anyone to notice it quickly.
