돌잡이란，　특정　의미가　담긴　여러가지　사물을　아기　앞에　두고　아기에게　선택하도록　합니다．아기가　첫번째로　고른　사물의　의미로　그　아기의　미래를　기원하는데，그　사물이란　것에는　다음과　같은　것들이　있습니다．

명주실：　오래　건강히　살라는　의미
Silk thread: long, healthy life

연필　：　공부잘하는　똑똑한　아이가　되라는　의미
