Traditional Dance Serimpi
Serimpi dance is a traditional dance of Yogyakarta. In ancient times this dance is always performed to welcome every turn of the king in Central Java.
The uniqueness of this serimpi dance is every female dancer wearing a wedding dress.
This dance will depict a woman who has a polite and ethical personality and uphold the dignity and prestige.
This will be depicted from the type of motion that is very soft, graceful and accompanied by gamelan music.
