What's Block Reward?
What's Block Reward? Block Reward is a gift given to a miner who has successfully hash a transaction block. When the Bitcoin block was first created in 2009, the block gave a prize of 50 BTC and so did the next blocks. The prizes that come from each of these blocks will be cut in half each time a certain block has been successfully mined. In the case of Bitcoin, the block's block threshold is every 210,000 blocks and this happens every 4 years.
