Journey to CFD crypto trading - Episode 005 - Observe and study
I have been getting direct messages from a few friends from the #cn group asking me why would I have such decision to buy/sell at certain time. I was merely answering the question. Reason being, trading can be very subjective. A same chart, 2 technical analyst could come up with an entire different view point and made a different decision. Let's put up the chart on what I'm doing. I will use XRP as an example.
The candle sticks chart is clean. There's no nothing in it. Now we can start to mess it up with things I like to see. If you do not remember, I shared my setup a week ago when I started this diary. I will include RSI and MACD in the screen to help me justify whether should I buy or should I sell.
First put up the RSI, setting is default
And then, setup the MACD. Setting is also default
Except one thing, I like purple, so I'm gonna change the color.
Done setup my chart. It's simple, clean and efficient. I like fancy charts, they're so nice to see and probably looked damn cool when being asked by others what am I doing infront of the screen, I would probably say, "Yo man umma tradin yo, its cool yo" like that? Seriously, no. I rather keep it super clean and simply. Amongst all the fancy charts, I like Ichimoku, but I have no idea how to use that just yet. So, I am going to keep it very simple straight forward as how I trade and what I trade.
It's simple stupid but effective. So, here's some readings about RSI and MACD. Go start reading if you want to find out what I did and how I did it.
Investopedia talks about RSI
Investopedia talks about MACD
There's no shortcut, not for you neither for me. We gotta learn some point, like it or not if we stop learning, we're getting left behind. I am starting to catch crypto now, hence this series of trading / learning diary has been written. Trust me, they seem like shit post, but they're not. Under what circumstance a shit post would bring me knowledge that will probably make me a small fortune by trading? Probably non-existed. Here's my recent trade started since last Sunday.
There's nothing to see here. Am still shorting yet another position on EOS. Long term trend could still be going up, hence tentatively I had a BUY LIMIT at around $5.7
I would like to thank all my friends and family who have been supporting me. Feel free to leave me feedback by clicking below yellow banner.

My methods end up very simple as well. I found that you must put in the time reading charts and trade real dollar amounts to learn and that's that. Without the experience you won't be able to come up with personal trading strategies.
But these are CFD. I don't hold any coins other than contract. And they're leveraged, kinda dangerous if traded with wrong margin.
I've lost quite a bit of money learning btw. Lol I've heard that the percentage of people who are able to trade successfully is really low. What do you think?

Let's find out with my trading diary.
Very nice!
我說我看不懂哦, haha.
RSI is one of my key measure on trading, mostly applied. But we should understand the analytical indicators are so different on varieties of products.
Good works!
It's my confirmation before entry. I don't use it to trade, but it's vital for me to confirm with RSI before I make a trade. We will cover the technical part in later state.
