SEC CFTC Cryptocurrencies Senate committee hearing - Doom or Moon?
On February 6, 2018 10:00 AM Washington DC time (GMT-5) the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will conduct a hearing regarding virtual currencies (cryptocurrencies). Could this spell disaster or could there be a roadmap to legitimising crypto?
I'm sure a lot of traders will be watching closely to see the direction the markets will take.

I think people will pick apart the meeting and not a lot will be said in regards to the whole thing. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they will say that the Ethereum was a security and then bag up Vatalik and put him in Club FED so they can show everyone who the boss is. It is hard swaying.
No doubt MSM will put a negative spin on it to suppress prices. Hopefully by Xmas Steem will be $1000 per coin. They released their testimonies early last night, it was mostly positive imo, might try and watch the web stream later.
yeah, from everything I saw it was pretty neutral and just a continuation of what has been going on so far. It could have been worse. That is for sure.
If STEEM gets to $1000 / coin that would change my life. LOL
