Tradeqwik Announces Huge Update
The Tradeqwik platform is in the midst of a huge update which began this morning and will continue in stages for at least twenty-four hours.
This update will not involve huge amounts of downtime, so you can trade as normal. However, there will be occasional short lived Rubber Ducky sightings throughout the process.
So far, BTC and BCH deposits and withdrawals have been successfully automated. You should be able to make BTC deposits without involving Tradeqwik technical support. However, if anything gets hung up, please don't hesitate to reach out on Discord. We can help you get it unstuck and it will also help us track down any final hidden bugs.
We are recommending that you wait another 24 hours before attempting to make BTC withdrawals. The reason for this is that we need to wait until the end of this maintenance cycle before we can transfer BTC back to our hot wallet for easy automated withdrawal.
On the update agenda (and getting worked on as we speak, er... write):
We will add ETC.
There will be a trollbox right on the site, because trading just isn't the same if you can't brag about it while you're doing it!
We will re-enable SBD withdrawals.
We will enable VIVA to VIP conversions. You will want to take advantage of this because your VIP balances will now be earning interest again based on network activity. Anytime we mint you get a little bit of VIP proportional to your overall share.
We will enable the drawdown switch which allows anyone with 8760 VIP or more to start converting it back to VIVA at a rate of 24 VIVA per day.
We plan to pay out TQS dividends on Monday as usual. This past week there has been a surge in trading volume so it should be a good one.
Finally, the VIVA Peg is now at $8.13.

As holder of multiple TQS, this makes me happy.
These are all exciting upgrades! It will be cool to have the trollbox on TradeQwik, and VIP receiving interest will be profitable! I'm still thinking of testing the Retirement Mode so we'll see how that goes. Good times on TQ!
