The Contest Ends But I Still Love You
They say the hardest thing to say is goodbye and this is one of those moments. It was quite the ride and I know I enjoyed being a part of it.
The contest that brought crypto enthusiast from different parts of the World to vie for the grand Prize of 1.5BTC for the love of crypto has finally come to an end and I'm glad we were all a part of it. I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated in this contest and congratulate everyone who participated; you're the real MVP and your time and dedication is highly appreciated.
The cryptospectacular expression of love that commenced on the 18th of February and lasted for the last 10 days brought with it great rewards for a host of coin traders from all over the world vying for the grand prize of 1.5 BTC or be a part of the 5 BTC reward pool.
The competition that was hosted to show how much we #lovecrypto was targeted at increasing the interest in trading by different community members and at the end of the day, the turn out duly shows that there was indeed "mad love" for crypto.
The contest required participants to
- Create a trade.io account that will be used for all your trading activities on the platform
- Have a minimum of 0.1 BTC as a start up balance or its equivalent to trade with.
- Ensure you have a minimum trading volume of 500USD or its equivalent to be recognized as a participant in this competition.
Contestants had the option of trading a host of ECR20 tokens including GRIN, NEO, HOT, AOA, LTO, EOS among other tokens.The contestants who adhered to these simple method for joining were then judged based on the following principle
- Percentage Score: If you start with 1 BTC and end with 2 BTC, this will give you 100% return. If 100% is the highest percentage increase in asset balance of all contestants at the end of the competition, you will receive a performance score of #1.
- Volume Score: Works the same as the performance score, but based on volume. If you traded 10,000 USDT in volume and no one else traded more than this amount, you will receive a volume score of #1
- Overall Score: We will then multiply the two scores for your overall score. The account with the lowest overall score wins.
The winners will be decided based on these scoring rules.
The participants in the contest were all present in a leaderboard found on the site and participants can easily use type their emails in the search bar to know how they did in the contest
The winners of the contest will be contacted within the next two weeks and rewarded for their participation.With this, we've come to the end of the contest and we must say our goodbyes, not from trading but just the end of the contest.
