Trade your Spanish booty for Chinese Silk, or pass the Dutch on the left hand side with Lord Indra

Indra is the leader or King of the Devas or gods and the lord of Svargaloka or heaven according to the Rig Veda. He is also known as Sakra (mighty one) in the Rigveda and is the god of rain and thunderstorms. In Hindu mythology, Ahalya (Sanskrit: अहल्या, IAST: Ahalyā) also known as Ahilya, is the wife of the sage Gautama Maharishi. Many Hindu scriptures say that she was seduced by Indra (the king of gods), cursed by her husband for infidelity, and liberated from the curse by Rama (an avatar of the god Vishnu).

Alexander Graham Bell (March 3, 1847 – August 2, 1922) was a Scottish-born scientist, inventor, engineer, and innovator who is credited with patenting the first practical telephone and founding the American Telephone and Telegraph Company (AT&T) in 1885.

In Hinduism, bells are generally hung at the temple dome in front of the Garbhagriha. The word "Ghanta" actually means a type of bell which is used in various Indian rituals from time immemorial; but its other meaning (which you are asking here,) is actually a slang. This slang has been part of the "Mumbai lingo" (Marathi, Hindi and Hinglish) since long time.

Die Glocke (pronounced [diː ˈɡlɔkə], German for "The Bell") was a purported top secret Nazi scientific technological device, secret weapon, or Wunderwaffe (German pronunciation: [ˈvʊndɐˌvafə]) is German for "Miracle Weapon".

The spouse of Ahalya was quite devoted to God as well his wife. He prayed by the river regularly and this is when Indra abused his power. Indra, as a legend goes, disguised himself as the spouse of the lovely mortal Ahalya as to seduce and fornicate but low and behold the proper married spouse returns from his religious devotion to discover the infidelity in his marriage bed and with a Lord Indra abusing his divine power. This is a story of a mortal man whom is devout to his religion as he petitions with the Hindu gods and goddesses of the divine crime committed by Lord Indra, addressing grievances of infidelity.

Mu vs. Aum in metaphysical court

The God’s and Goddess’s punished Indra for infidelities, covering Indra with a thousand yonis (vulvas), to shame him for his lust and abuse of his divine power as cursed to bear the marks of a thousand vulvae to let all know what Indra was obsessed with. Hindi Myths convey Indra was so ashamed of wearing on his sleeve his lust , displaying for all of his abuse with his divine power, he hid away in a far away corner of the universe, neglecting his duties galaxies depended on. In the absence of Lord Indra, with his obligations as a Hindu god, the universe began to collapse upon itself!

Indra in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Taoism, Zoroastrian, Europe, Bali

To stop the universe from collapsing upon itself, the Hindi gods and goddesses agreed to transform the one thousand vulva's into one thousand eyes. This, perhaps, conveys that Lord Indra may perceive from many points of perspective from many or have many points of understandings, having a different angle on each view. With this, Lord Indra agreed to perform his divine devotions upon the universe and all was right as rain. I do not think there is a comparable story in the Jewish-Catholic-Muslim Bible that quite compares to this marriage contract social convention of 'fidelity' or expressing only having 'eyes' for only one prized love above all others as an antithesis of the (perceived) temple of error, as to discover an underlying truth.

An ethos of loving one God above all others is expressed in the western Bible here perhaps besides fidelity in a marriage contract. Loyalty and fidelity are mentioned in a few parables from the Bible, however not at length in metaphors that perhaps the masses may comprehend social utility as in fables of morals. Maybe a tea time story of some sort, eh?

The House of Orange-Nassau a branch of the European House of Nassau, has played a central role in the politics and government of the Netherlands and Europe especially since William the Silent organized the Dutch revolt against Spanish rule, which after the Eighty Years' War (1568–1648) led to an independent Dutch state.

Several members of the house served during this war and after as stadtholder ("governor"; Dutch: stadhouder) during the Dutch Republic. However, in 1815, after a long period as a republic, the Netherlands became a monarchy under the House of Orange-Nassau.

The dynasty was established as a result of the marriage of Henry III of Nassau-Breda from Germany and Claudia of Châlon-Orange from French Burgundy in 1515. Their son René inherited in 1530 the independent and sovereign Principality of Orange from his mother's brother, Philibert of Châlon. As the first Nassau to be the Prince of Orange, René could have used "Orange-Nassau" as his new family name. However, his uncle, in his will, had stipulated that René should continue the use of the name Châlon-Orange. History knows him therefore as René of Châlon. After the death of René in 1544, his cousin William of Nassau-Dillenburg inherited all of his lands. This "William I of Orange", in English better known as William the Silent, became the founder of the House of Orange-Nassau.

The new contact between the global population circulated a wide variety of crops and livestock, which supported increases in population in both hemispheres, although diseases initially caused precipitous declines in the numbers of indigenous peoples of the Americas. Traders returned to Europe with maize, potatoes, and tomatoes, which became very important crops in Europe by the 18th century.

The Columbian Exchange was the widespread transfer of plants, animals, culture, human populations, technology, and ideas between the Americas and the Old World in the 15th and 16th centuries, related to European colonization and trade following Christopher Columbus's 1492 voyage. Invasive species, including communicable diseases, were a byproduct of the Exchange. The changes in agriculture significantly altered and changed global populations. However, the most significant immediate impact of the Columbian Exchange was the cultural exchanges and the transfer of people between continents.

The Dutch Revolt (1568–1648) was the successful revolt of the northern, largely Protestant Seven Provinces of the Low Countries against the rule of the Roman Catholic King Philip II of Spain, hereditary ruler of the provinces. The southern provinces initially joined in the revolt but later submitted to Spain.

The religious "clash of cultures" built up gradually but inexorably into outbursts of violence against the perceived repression of the Habsburg Crown. These tensions led to the formation of the independent Dutch Republic, whose first leader was William of Orange, followed by several of his descendants and relations. This revolt was one of the first successful secessions in Europe, and led to one of the first European republics of the modern era, the United Provinces.

King Philip was initially successful in suppressing the rebellion. In 1572, however, the rebels captured Brielle and the rebellion resurged. The northern provinces became independent, first in 1581 de facto, and in 1648 de jure. During the revolt, the United Provinces of the Netherlands, better known as the Dutch Republic, rapidly grew to become a world power through its merchant shipping and experienced a period of economic, scientific, and cultural growth. The Southern Netherlands (situated in modern-day Belgium, Luxembourg, northern France and southern Netherlands) remained under Spanish rule. The continuous heavy-handed rule by the Habsburgs in the south caused many of its financial, intellectual, and cultural elite to flee north, contributing to the success of the Dutch Republic. The Dutch imposed a rigid blockade on the southern provinces that prevented Baltic grain from relieving famine in the southern towns, especially from 1587 to 1589. By the end of the war in 1648, large areas of the Southern Netherlands had been lost to France, which had, under the guidance of Cardinal Richelieu and Louis XIII of France, allied itself with the Dutch Republic in the 1630s against Spain.

Christianity was introduced with the first European settlers beginning in the 16th and 17th centuries. Colonists from Northern Europe introduced Protestantism in its Anglican and Reformed forms to Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts Bay Colony, New Netherland, Virginia Colony, and Carolina Colony. The first arrivals were adherents to Anglicanism, Congregationalism, Presbyterianism, Lutheranism, Quakerism, Anabaptism and the Moravian Church from British, German, Dutch, and Nordic stock. America emerged as a Protestant majority nation, with significant minorities of Roman Catholics and Jews.

Secrets of Dutch Success

Maurice of Orange (Dutch: Maurits van Oranje) (14 November 1567 – 23 April 1625) was stadtholder of all the provinces of the Dutch Republic except for Friesland from 1585 at earliest until his death in 1625. Before he became Prince of Orange upon the death of his eldest half-brother Philip William in 1618, he was known as Maurice of Nassau. (During colonial hemp shortages it was a punishable offence for landowners (sometimes by death) for refusing to grow the plant. )

Maurice spent his youth in Dillenburg in Nassau, and studied in Heidelberg and Leiden. He succeeded his father William the Silent as stadtholder of Holland and Zeeland in 1585, and became stadtholder of Utrecht, Guelders and Overijssel in 1590, and of Groningen in 1620. As Captain-General and Admiral of the Union, Maurice organised the Dutch rebellion against Spain into a coherent, successful revolt and won fame as a military strategist. Under his leadership and in cooperation with the Land's Advocate of Holland Johan van Oldenbarnevelt, the Dutch States Army achieved many victories and drove the Spaniards out of the north and east of the Republic. Maurice set out to revive and revise the classical doctrines of Vegetius and pioneered the new European forms of armament and drill. During the Twelve Years' Truce, a religious dispute broke out in the Republic, and a conflict erupted between Maurice and Van Oldenbarnevelt, which ended with the latter's decapitation. After the Truce, Maurice failed to achieve more military victories. He died without legitimate children in The Hague in 1625, and was succeeded by his younger half-brother Frederick Henry.

The Protestant Ascendancy, known simply as the Ascendancy, was the political, economic and social domination of Ireland between the 17th century and the early 20th century by a minority of landowners, Protestant clergy and members of the professions, all members of the Church of Ireland or the Church of England. The Ascendancy excluded other groups – widely seen as primarily Roman Catholics, but also members of the Presbyterian and other Protestant denominations, along with non-Christians such as Jews — from politics and high society. Until the Reform Acts (1832–1928) even the majority of Irish Protestants were effectively excluded from the Ascendancy, being too poor to vote. In general, the privileges of the Ascendancy were resented by Irish Catholics, who made up the majority of the population.

George Boole was a largely self-taught English mathematician, philosopher and logician, most of whose short career was spent as the first professor of mathematics at Queen's College, Cork in Ireland. Boolean algebra has been fundamental in the development of digital electronics, and is provided for in all modern programming languages. It is also used in set theory and statistics. Boolean Operators are used to connect and define the relationship between your search terms. When searching electronic databases, you can use Boolean operators to either narrow or broaden your record sets. The three Boolean operators are AND, OR and NOT.

By 1603, the Dutch had invaded and occupied the Banda Islands, part of the Moluccas. The islands were known as the Spice Islands due to the nutmeg, mace and cloves that were originally exclusively found there. During this century, in two decades, the Dutch created a monopoly of Cloves, Mace and Nutmeg. In 1668, Josiah Child published his first significant tract, Brief Observations, essentially addressing the "Dutch threat". All other things being equal, a Dutch company could borrow at a 4 percent interest rate two and a half more than an English at ten percent. The Dutch farmers were pioneers coupling a hedge of a futures contract upon a shipping charter as maritime insurance. Alberico Gentili is referred to as the Father of international law. Other legals scholars such as Francisco de Vitoria, Francisco Suárez, and Hugo Grotius are sometimes referred to as fathers of international law. International law, also called public international law or law of nations, the body of legal rules, norms, and standards that apply between sovereign states and other entities that are legally recognized as international actors. The term was coined by the English philosopher Jeremy Bentham (1748–1832).
