Barış Manço (January 2, 1943 - February 1, 1999)

Barış Manço, who struck Turkish history with Turkish music, was born on January 2, 1943. He is the second son of Hakkari and Rikkat Uyanik couple. His mother's father and father left when Barış Manco was 3 years old and he lived in Kadıköy with his father. Guzi Mustafa Kemal Primary School ended.

He entered Galatasaray High School but lost his father at the 10th grade and went to Şişli Teraki High School. At the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium reads pictures, graphics and interior architecture. Baris Manco, who is not very successful in high school and has been provided by music and geography, I graduated as the school's first. Music life started in Galatasaray High School, also continued in Belgium ... When Manco returned home in 1969, he made the song "Mountains Mountains".
