Turkish artists - İbrahim Çallı (1882 – 1960) – Üsküdar

in #tr7 years ago

Çallı, who also took painting lessons from painter Roben Efendi, entered Şefer Ahmet Pasha's proposal in 1906 at the Industrial-i Nefise Mektebi, now the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. The six-year school ended in three years.

In the Turkish picture, İbrahim Çallı and his friends are known as "1914 Belt Turkish Painters", "Turkish Impressionists" and "Çallı Belzağı". Çallı has been one of the important driving forces in entering the process of painting in the field of western understanding. The impressionist understanding observed throughout the course of his work has been very unique in that he has strictly enforced the rules of the impressionist movement in European painting practices. This character is revealed by the attitude of Çallı in the selection of the elements forming the composition and in the formation of the pictorial tongue.

The highlight of the Üsküdar chart is that the painter uses all the colors on his pallet skillfully. When you look at the picture, you feel yourself wandering in Üsküdar with Çallı in those years.
