CANNIBAL ISLAND:(SENTINEL ISLAND)

The island of Sentinel is an island between Myanmar and Indonesia in Bengal Harbour,and it is known that the inhabitants of this island never colonized and never contacted modern technology and humanity.These people are completely isolated from the modern world and are known as the last people that civilization did not touch.The island inhabited by this interesting tribe raises a great mystery and wonder whether it has been discovered or not.However,because of the brutal attitude of the people of the region, everyone who tries to enter the island has been attacked, no one has the courage to enter the region.

In 1880, the British scientist man.A team led by V Portman has forcibly kidnapped six indigenous people to be investigated.However, most of the natives who were kidnapped died of the disease and the rest were forced to leave the island again with gifts.After this visit, the people of the island were not disturbed for a long time.Later, the Indian government decided to establish a connection with the Sentinel tribe in the 1960s, but with the brutal attitude of the locals, the island was no more than a gift.In addition, during these years, an Indian prisoner who escaped from prison and took refuge in the island was found dead on the beach.

This primitive tribe,which did not give up its wild attitude, attacked a cargo ship called Primrose in 1981 by looting arrows.For years, similar attacks and the desire to communicate with the outside world continued by the mysterious Tribe Called Sentinelese.However, many years later, an Indian anthropologist (Madhumala Chattopadhyay) broke the wild attitude of the tribe and managed to establish friendly communications with the people of the island.But, from outside the indigenous world
the Indian government has decided to stop these scientific research trips in order to prevent the disease it may be infected.After this decision,the tribe returned to its former brutal position and attacked the helicopter after the tsunami in the Indian Ocean in 2004.In fact,the tribe, which went even further later, killed more than two fishermen who were approaching the island in 2006.After all, the Indian government strictly forbids entry to the island to protect the indigenous people and not disrupt the natural structure of the island.Today, the entrance to the region is still forbidden and the region is far from the modern society. it continues,and despite the fact that they encounter modern life and people many times, they consciously reject it.
