Savaşın başından itibaren stratejik noktalarda görev alan Türk tugayı kendisine verilen görevleri en iyi şekilde yerine getirdi ancak katıldığı muharebelerde 37 subay, 26 astsubay, 658 er olmak üzere toplam 721 şehit verdi.
