“Beyaz Altın” Olarak Adlandırılan Çeltik
Tosya – Kargı- Osmancık arasında çeltik ekimi zamanı bu güzel manzaralarla sık sık karşılaşılır.
Özellikle fotoğrafçılar için harika malzemeler çıkmaktadır. Bu fotoğraf karesi de amatör olarak benim objektifime yansıyan bir görüntü oldu.
Çeltik hakkında kısa bilgi vermek gerekirse; çeltik dünyada en fazla üretimi yapılan tahıllardan biridir. Ülkemizde ise buğday, arpa, mısır gibi tahıllardan sonra gelir. Çeltik hemen hemen her toprakta yetişir. Ancak su geçirgenliği az, organik maddece zengin topraklarda daha yüksek ürün verir.
Çeltik yazlık ekilen bir bitkidir. Çok iyi çimlenmesi için toprak ve su sıcaklığının 18 derecenin üzerinde olması gerekir. Çeltik ekimi bölgelere göre değişmekle birlikte ekim mayıs ayı içerisinde yapılır.

Pirinç tarlalarının yanından çok geçmişliğim var ama hiç böyle tepeden görünüşünü görmemiştim. Oldukça muazzam duruyor.
Fotoğrafa bakınca çok büyük bir alanda yapılıyormuş gibi gözüküyor. Ama sanırım ülkemizde üretim yeterli seviyede değil.
