Çöl tilkisi bir diğer adı ile Fennek tilkisi olarakta bilinmektedir.Köpekgiller mensubuna aittir.Çöl tilkisi adındanda anlaşıldığı gibi çöl yaşamında çok iyi uyum sağlar.Kuzey Afrika ve Arap ülkelerinde yaşamaktadırlar.Çöl tilkilerinin uzunlukları ise 40 cm kadar uzarlar.Fakat kulakları boyutuna göre büyüktür 15 cm kadar olmaktadır.Bu kulaklar ile çöl hayatında vücut ısısını korumaktadırlar.Çöl tilkisinin kuyruğu ise 25 cm kadardır.Ağırlıkları ise 1.5 kg kadar çıkmaktadır.Çöl Tilkileri Sahel çölünde ve Sina yarımadasında’da yaşamaktadırlar.Sadece gece avlanmaya çıkmaktadırlar.
