Bildiginiz uzere, Ernest Hemingway, romanlariyla dunya edebiyatinda onemli bir yere sahip. Kendisi, ABD'nin Florida eyaletine bagli Key West'te uzun yillar yasamistir. Key West, Florida'dan cikip, guneye dogru Kuba'ya yaklasan takimadalarin sonuncusu. Kuba'ya uzakligi sadece 90 mil. Fakat, ambargodan dolayi Kuba'ya gitmek yasak.
