Traveling in Turkish History
Turkish States. Since ancient times, Anatolia has become a region that many states want to conquer because of its favorable climatic conditions, geographical location, fertile lands, underground and aboveground resources, and migration routes passing through here. The first Turkish invasions: The first Turkish invasions to Anatolia were made by Sabirler in the 6th century. But these influences have not been made to settle in Anatolia. The Turkish state that organized the expedition to Anatolia is the Great Seljuk State.
In almost every period, the issue of the number of states established by the Turks, which form the state, is controversial. There are sixteen Turkish states that are not fully understood as to what criteria our Republic was based on during the foundation years and which are symbolized by the stars in the Presidential Forces. This problem, which is not known even today, and which is not subject to sufficient scientific research in the following years, has come back to the present day when the Turks look with a scientific consciousness of their past. It is understood that this table is very missing when the Turkish history is examined. In history, the number of Turkish states established in different kinds of empire, state, atabeylik, beyylik and khanate is 120 according to a separation and 150 according to another separation. Even today, the historians have a tendency to reach a certain number of Turkish states with different criteria. All the Turkish states have achieved their independence and maintained their sovereignty between certain dates in separate regions. For the time being, historians from different sections agree that the only issue they can agree on is that they are well above the number of Turkish states. However, it is becoming increasingly impossible for others to agree that one adopts the state and to agree on a certain number. There is also scientific skepticism and objections that the Western Hun and European Hun Empires in this list are the same state and that the Golden State is a Mongol state rather than a Turkic state.
