I would like to share some of my memories from Erzurum and Artvin trip which we did last year..
Tortum Lake, only 1 and a half hours away from the city of Erzurum (105 km from the city center), magnificent scenery and wonderful turquoise view.
The length of the lake is about 10 km.
It is a bit dangerous to get to the edge of the lake because the lake is surrounded by high hills, but there are cafes and restaurants near lake on the hills so you can enjoy this magnificent view.
We chose to take a break on the highest hill to take pictures :)
Geçen sene yaptığımız; Erzurum ve Artvin gezisinden bazı hatıralarımı sizlerle paylaşmak istiyorum..
Erzurum ilinden sadece 1 buçuk saat uzaklıkta (şehir merkezine 105 km uzaklıkta) olan Tortum Gölü Muhteşem manzarası ve harika turkuaz görüntüsüyle bizi büyüledi..
Gölün uzunluğu yaklaşık 10 km, git git bitmiyor.. :)
Gölün etrafı yüksek tepelerle çevrili olduğu için gölün kenarına inmek biraz tehlikeli ama bu muhteşem manzaranın keyfini çıkarabilmeniz için yer yer kafeler ve restoranlar mevcut.
Biz fotoğraf çekmek için en yüksek tepede mola vermeyi tercih ettik :)

When we went the weather is really hot, but the waterfall area was great.
You can reach the pool area of the waterfall with stone stairs comfortably.
There is a very strong water current in the waterfall, so it is inevitable to get wet with the water that hit stones.
There are many picnic areas around the waterfall.
You can barbecue and have your tea in the urn.
Biz gittiğimizde hava sıcaktan kavrulurken şelalenin olduğu bölge bir harikaydı.
Rahatlıkla taş merdivenlerle Şelalenin havuz kısmına ulaşabilirsiniz.
Şelalede çok güçlü su akıntısı mevcut ve bu yüzden yüksekten düşen suyun taşlara çarpmasıyla etrafa dağılan suyla ıslanmak kaçınılmaz oluyor.
Şelale etrafında birçok piknik alanı var.
Mangalınızı yakıp, semaverde çayınızı içebilirsiniz..
