It is considered to be the trend gadget of the year 2017: Fidget Spinner are now to be found in school yards as well as in offices. But is the great hype already over?

Fidget Spinner (or "Finger Spinner") are the trend 2017 in the gadget world. At Amazon & Co. have never been sold so many finger toys. But is the great hype already over? At least when we look at Google Trend Analysis, the number of Fidget Spinner search queries is massively declining.
While the interest has risen rapidly, since the middle of May, web, news and YouTube search requests have been drastically shattered. The start of summer holidays in many countries is presumed to be the reason for this development. Nevertheless, the spinners are still very popular. While the search queries go back, there have never been so many videos on the topic of Fidget Spinner in the Youtube trends. It remains to be seen whether the end of the hypes has actually come.
