Spending around Rs. 1.4 million, the appearance of this slum colony has changed. This work was started by 54-year-old junior high school principal Salamate Vidodo. He started with inspiration from the changes in the colors of the other three cities here. The appearance of these three cities was changed by coloring similarly colored paints. This settlement has got a new look by decorating 232 houses in the tight streets of Kempang Paleangi with radiant colors in the original specimens.
This township, decorated with beautiful paintings, draws attention from tourists. Indonesia Kampang is famous due to the rainbow painting of Palengi village. Tourists are coming more here due to the beautification of old slum colonies. The business here is growing very much. Along with this, it has created a wonderful atmosphere in the old sloping settlement. There are great views here for photo shooters for Instagram.
Somarang city mayor Hendrar Pehhadi says that the cooperation of the residents in the area is important for the new settlement.
