MOUNT PATTI TOUR

On that faithful Saturday morning 24th February 2018, myself with my friend both left our hostel to view the highest mountain in Kogi state which happens yo be the moutain Lord Lugard (The first Colonial Master) in Nigeria and his wife Flora Shaw, dwelt before the Almagamation of the southern and Northern protectorate of Nigeria in 1914. On mount patti, you can view the whole of Kogi state capital city (Lokoja), both the length and the breath. Also, you'll have a clearer view of the confluence water i.e (River Benue and River Niger) where they both met.

The mountain has a plain surface in which so many buildings are been erected, including a Television and radio station, network provider masts, churches to mention a few. Different kind of trees grew on this mountain and has lived over a century. Lord Lugard's house, his chair with that of his wife, his house, his statue, the first pole the first pole that Nigeria flag was first tied with, and some other pictures are shown below:

Indeed, my trip to MOUNT PATTI was fruitful and i was happy with all those ancient things i saw and this showed how blessed Nigeria is.
