Aceh Tourism Ambassador 2017 and Future Challenge

Without felt a year has passed when the Government of Aceh through the Department of Culture and Tourism of Aceh held the 2016 Aceh Tourism Ambassador election activities in Langsa city that successfully showed Fadli Nora Iranda paired with Cut Princess Nuzulia Syarif out as Aceh Tourism Ambassador 2016.
This year the election of Aceh Tourism Ambassador (PDWA) 2017 was held 13-16 October in Banda Aceh City which opening night was held on October 13 at Hotel Grand Nanggroe Aceh followed by tourism ambassadors from 23 regencies / cities.
Head of Culture and Tourism Office (Disbudpar) Aceh Reza Fahlevi stated that PDWA 2017 was held in to succeed Aceh as the World Halal Tourism Destination through the involvement of Aceh Tourism Ambassador as digital volunteer or digital army in menviralkan various charms of Aceh tourism.
"PDWA 2017 this time the theme Ayo Promote Enchantment Tour of Aceh through Digital Media aims to give birth to a young generation with the title of Aceh Tourism Ambassador who has talent and creativity of work," said Reza.
Aceh Tourism Ambassador that we expect, added Reza should have a concern in exploring the potentials and uniqueness of the region and promote the potential to tourists through digital media, which will ultimately have a positive impact on economic progress in the region.
"The selection of this theme at the PDWA 2017 event is very precise and strategic, where Aceh now needs the motivation and role of young people of digital army and community to continue to build the country and promote Aceh as a halal tourism destination through digital media," Reza added.
Entering a decade, this year's PDWA will lift something different from the previous year along with technological advances, as revealed by Head of Marketing Disbudpar Aceh, Rahmadhani during preparation of PDWA 2017 at Hotel Grand Nanggroe Aceh.
"There are several items in PDWA this year that will be slightly different, this is not apart from the various inputs and also considerations about the promotion of tourism in the future continue to be emphasized through digital media, one of the registration of participants through online at the official website Disbudpar Aceh, www.disbudpar .acehprov.go.id, "he explained.
In addition, all participants of PDWA 2017 will also be visiting several schools in order to socialize tourism.
"Participants of PDWA who have been present in accordance with the requirements have also been declared able to read the Qur'an, able to speak regional, English and other foreign languages, mastering artistic attractions and local tourism potentials, mastering science, IT and good personality and maintaining behavior in accordance with the Islamic cultural values of Aceh during the quarantine period, "added Rahmadhani.
Later on, the couple of Ambassadors of Aceh Tour 2017 who were elected on the night of the coronation which took place on 16 October at Amel Convention Center will be sent to East Nusa Tenggara Province on behalf of Aceh Government on November 28 - December 3, 2017 to compete again at National level with Tour Ambassadors from 33 other provinces throughout Indonesia.
