Touch Panel

The touch panel is allow displayed objects or screen positions to be selected with the touch of a finger. A typical application of touch Panel s is for presented with graphical icons System can be adapted for touch input by fitting a transparent device with a touch sensing mechanism over monitor screen. A touch input can be recorded using optical, electrical and acoustical methods.

Optical touch panel :
It is panelled employ a line of infrared light - emitting diodes.along one vertical edge and along one horizontal edge of the contain light defectors.These detectors are used to record which beams are interrupted when the panel is touched.

Electroplate is a panel :
It is constructed with two transparent plates coated by a small distance. one of the plate is coated with a conducting material, and the other plate is coated with the inner plate. it is forced, into contact with the inner plate. This contact creates a voltage drop across the resistive plate that is converted to the coordinate values of the selected screen position.
