Ten Photographs of 9/11 Attack You May not Have Seen

The most popular terrorist attack in US history would be clocking exactly seventeen years this year. How time flies right? A child given birth to that year is inches closer to adulthood now. I am confident of one thing though, as old as the event may have been, it would continue to linger in our memory considering the havoc wreaked and the popularity of the buildings (WTC building) involved. One striking thing again is the fact that the building has once been attacked before September, 2001. This keeps suggesting there is perhaps something very ‘special’ the terrorist on its rampage are actually seeking. Many have nabbed the attack a conspiracy and many other have seen it as a pure act of terror having nothing to do with conspiracy. Whichever way, the deed has been done and it has simply increased alertness of the world and most especially the US towards terror and its prevention.
Many terrible pictures including the free falling man trailed the incidence but you may still have not seen some of the pictures that followed the event because they were not as terrible as the ones shown then. Here are ten of them;

What courage? Who thinks of taking a picture when something like this is happening? The first time I saw this, I was of the opinion that the pace has been set for many of us that can snap pictures anywhere with our smartphones long ago. It is so unbelievable that someone would remember to take a picture of such incidence especially from inside an airplane. He achieved a feat though, he gave us one of the pictures to talk about long after the event.

This is probably the most expressive of the 9/11 pictures I have seen. It is the exact image on my mind and what I may also have done if I am in that position. Shocks and trembles must grip everyone that we would wonder what was happening and raise up our heads, jaws dropped to watch the fall of Goliath.

What would one have done if not taking to heels? Even when one has no idea of what is happening, I trust the adrenalin will tell you to pick your race seeing mystery smoke and dust. Just watch again and confirm no one wants to die a mysterious death.

Some jobs are so tasking that firm owners wouldn’t want to hear an excuse about why you have not completed the task you are being paid for. The picture says it all. The urgency shows he was not even thinking about the attack.

The man that took this picture certainly had a live experience of the terror events. I bet he will not forget the incidence his entire life.

There are actually very few footage of the first airplane approaching the tower but someone still managed to take this shot. I wonder if he was expecting the incidence. The picture was said to have been shot from Brooklyn window where an internet art exhibition was going on. This is definitely of the scarcest records of the September, 2001 attack.

Nothing would have been strange about this picture but a question of how the photographer and camera survived needs to be asked. Just view the shot angle and you would see the person is probably some meters close to the collapsing tower. So unreal but actually very real.

In a picture that showed none of the crowd was aware of what was going on, a pregnant woman (8 months) reported to be Isabel Daser (Amateur Pilot) asked her co-worker to take a portrait picture of her as a record of the day. It is shocking how people that are very close to the incident that shook the world massively have no idea of what is happening at the moment.

The collapsing building seem to be finding an ease in the church of God after the attack. It rained its disintegrating debris on the cross and behind the cross of a church close by. Just watch the picture. If the cross is still standing after that, it is probably a divine one.

It isn’t rapture yet and these folks wouldn’t want to die by fire. They chose what they thought were lesser torture to getting burnt to death. Terrible and frightening though, but I bet many people have not seen this.
