Track your post-ICO cryptocurrencies
Since I discovered the crypto world, I had the chance to partecipate in quite many ICOs, and to get some benefits out of it. Once your portfolio is growing, you have to keep track of all the prices constantly, in order for you to know when to sell your assets. And here comes the big pain.
All the crypto investors that I know, use simple spreadsheets to keep all the useful informations:
date of the token purchase
quantity of tokens bought
bonuses, if any
quantity of value invested in cryptovalues
quantity of value invested in USD/EUR
ICO price of the token, given by the division of the tokens bought and the quantity of value invested (BTC/ETH/LTC…)
ICO price of the token in USD/EUR
actual price of the token (to be checked from time to time)
The actual price of the token has to be viewed on the market exchanges, when the token is finally tradable, and then has to be added/adjusted in the spreadsheet to finally see the gain/loss of that particular asset.
With the help of open APIs of Etherdelta’s decentralised market exchange, I was able to create a simple tool: Crypto Observer.
With it, you can view all the known and recent tokens, view the actual trading price in real-time, see the default ICO price and you can get to know immediately the gain or loss at that point in time of the token.
Once you register to the platform, you can also create your own portfolio, insert the quantity of token, and the system will let you know how messed up your portfolio is.

The tool is still in beta phase, so please let me know if you find any bugs, or some calculations that are not right.
