I've been a Telegram user for more than 8 years, thanks largely to my dear cousin Danilo, but also because it is a fantastic and innovative communication tool. I find it intriguing how the green-colored alternative remains so prevalent, even though it is, in my humble opinion, substantially worse.The launch of The Open Network (TON), an independent blockchain with extensive functionalities already integrated within Telegram, has significantly democratized the transition from Web2 to Web3.
Recently, the tap-to-earn narrative has gained traction, but it's been about three months since I first played Catizen and Notcoin via the Telegram app. As always, please DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and carefully consider the decisions you make with your time and money. DOGS aims to create a memecoin based on the tokens its generating through a MiniApp within Telegram. Supported by the Notcoin project, the project went viral and got millions of users in its launch day. The logo is based on a sketch from the app's founder of his pet, Pavel Durov and Spotty, respectively. What a use of 'respectively', uh?
The distribution of tokens mainly started by rewarding long-term Telegram users and through referral invitations. More recently, the project added tasks and a daily check-in rewarding system.
