Sadly it is a goodbye to tomeck, @czapkins as bad weather halted further rescue on #NangaParbat Pakistan. It was their 5th winter attempt on this mountain. Reportedly they made to the top this time. It is mountaineering where some get success, some end with tragedy.
Tomasz Mackiewicz of Poland and Elisabeth Revol of France were trying to climb the 8,126 m tall Himalayan peak located in Pakistan known as the killer mountain.
Revol said that Tom had severely frostbitten feet, could not walk, had snow blindness. He was in bad shape. If we add to this that probably in the tent there was no food ... it takes almost two days at an altitude of more than 7000 m . It's hopeless. # NangaParbat.
