iShook Tokens For Micropayments
This platform will use it’s own cryptocurrency token called iShook token (SHK). With this token authors will be able to earn revenues in the form of micropayment.
In order to encourage authors to join the platform they will be able to earn bonus payments in SHK when they register. Likewise when they publish content they will also earn SHK tokens.
Charging For Premium Content
Die hard fans love reading special content from their favourite authors in the form of notes and annotations. iShook will provide an easy way for authors to monetise the notes and annotations by enabling them to charge for this type of premium content.
Authors will also be able to monetise their time by charging readers who want to join in on private author Q & A’s. This will be facilitated directly on the iShook platform, so readers never have to leave.
Readers will also be able to earn iShook tokens through their own content creation efforts. They will be able to sell their own notes and annotations about works that they enjoy. This will give them a strong incentive to contribute to the platform.
iShook Token Generation Event
The iShook platform is already in place but in order to help scale and promote it, the iShook team is conducting a token generation event.
In total their have been 1 billion SHK tokens minted. Of these tokens 570 million will be offered for distribution through the TGE.
