Topic: What is more expensive: Restructure or climate breakdown?

more_expensive.png
People struggle with the costs of restructuring the energy mix. People don't want to change, but the world will change, if we want or not.
People don't want, that someone take the sausage from their bread. So a lot of people hate the #fridaysforfuture movement. But they don't look what happens, when we do nothing. A lot of animals and plants have already been distinguished. Even if we don't care about that- it has consequences for us. And they are much more expensive than a tax on CO2.
What do you think?

The consomption of coal has increased by 0,7 % in 2018.
« After two years of decline, global coal demand grew by 1% in 2017 to 7585 Mt as stronger global economic growth increased both industrial output and electricity use. Driven by strong coal power generation in China and India, coal demand is expected to grow again in 2018. »

Global coal demand is forecast to be stable through 2023
So we better learn to swim !

Yes, I have seen more concerning news:

This is really not good and I also fear, that have have to learn to swim.
This means in first order, that we have to keep peace with people, that cannot follow the arguments of #FridayForFutures.
When we split our nations, we earn riots or even worse.
