From one of Steemits 13 year old bloggers

Today I was walking around the farm around my house and I noticed a lot of stuff growing everywhere!! There were so many vegetables planted but most were still growing out of the ground because they are supposed to be harvested in the Summer and it’s Winter right now!!

The first vegetables I saw were beetroots!! They tasted great and are really healthy for you!!

These are pictures of beetroots that are still in the ground.

Beetroots are low in calaries and have almost no fat at all in them. Raw beetroots are 88% water, 10% carbohydrates, 2% protein and less than 1% fat!! It improves blood flow and lowers blood pressure!!

The next vegetables I saw were peas!!

These peas are all still growing and will be ready by the Summer time!!

I did find one little plant with some peas on it!! If you look close enough then you can see that there are quite a few peas growing on this tiny plant!! The peas are kind of camouflaged!!

Peas are high in protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and Vitamin K!! Peas also have a lot of minerals in them like iron and zinc!!

The next plant is wheat!! Wheat is a type of grain we use to make flour!!

This wheat is still in the growing process and will be ready to harvest in the Summer!! There were acres and acres of wheat planted in almost every single farm I went to in India!!

Wheat is used to make flour and flour is used to make bread, muffins, pizza dough and many other foods!!

Vegetables and grains are really healthy for you!! We eat vegetables and grains in items we don’t even no that there in!! Sometimes vegetables can make something taste bad but sometimes it makes it taste better!!!

Overall if you like eating vegetables good for you and if you don’t well then maybe its time for a change!!
