Scientists discovered a medallion of an unknown age on the ocean floor. Initially, the researchers came to the conclusion that it is very ancient. It turned out that this is not so.

This decoration belonged to one of the passengers of the Titanic, namely Virginia Estelle McDowell Clarke. She and her husband went on a honeymoon on a notorious liner.

During the crash of the Titanic, the woman managed to survive, but her husband was killed. He put her and four other passengers in boats, and he himself remained on a sinking ship.
