Well!
Surely when you see a plane landing you noticed that the tires smoke when they hit the runway.

We think at one point they will burst, but believe me, it will not happen.

What really happens is that the track offers a lot of friction, so that the planes can stop, these tires are made of a kind of reinforced rubber, that ends up being spent in the various tracks.

If you look at a runway from the top, sure that it's darker in the area that is touched by the tires. (Yes that is melted rubber)

The lane needs to be cleaned several times a month to provide adhesion.

These tires also get very hot since they go from 0 to 280 km / h in less than 1/10 of a second, and that is the main reason we see smoke coming out of them, as they reach 270ºC

That's why airplane tires are usually changed twice a month (mid-stroke aircraft like an A320)
