Eating a banana every day eliminates the danger of blindness. According to a recent research, one banana food every day is very beneficial for the eyes. According to the researchers, bananas have found a compound known as carotonoid. Carotonoid gives red, orange and yellow color to fruits and vegetables. After eating it goes into the liver and it turns into vitamin A, which is very beneficial for the eyes.

Even before this, it has been proved in a research that high-quality foods of carotenoids provide protection against cancer, heart-related diseases and diabetes.

According to the study, banana is rich in Provitamin A carotenoids, which is a great option for the eyes to meet the deficiency of vital vitamin A.

Kara L. Mortimer and other researchers from Queensland University of Technology studied two varieties of banana for this research. They found that cavendish varieties of light yellow and low-carotenoids produce more enzymes that break the carotenoids molecules.

This research has been published in the Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry (ACS).
