a HORIZONTAL VIEW, Tips from Beginner to Beginner, how to behave in SteemitsteemCreated with Sketch.

in #tips6 years ago

You may laugh very hard when seeing the title, how come a beginner gives some advice to other beginners?

Well, from a mainstream point of view, you might be right. A beginner is often being associated with someone who hasn't have enough experience. What to expect from a beginner to share then?

In this article, I will against the mainstream, I'm gonna share my thoughts from another point of view, a narrow but close to the targets, a HORIZONTAL VIEW, a view that maybe if told by experienced people, not focus to the problems and grounding enough to understand what beginners feel.

Motivation behind this article

Still writing one introductionary article is an undeniable fact that I still do not have enough experience.
But on the other hand, it is also a fact that many friends have asked me some tips even they know that I still write one.
What a PARADOX!.

All right enough the chit-chat.
Let's jump into my 'nostalgic part' lol

Background Story

I have got so many positive responses so far, some of my close friends have asked me the 'secret ingredient' why I am able to gain 38 in reputation score just in one article while they have been here long before me, wrote several articles, and their reputation score is not moving from its default value 25, not so many upvotes, etc.
(Is 38, is it a really good score? What is the purpose of that number anyway? Aren't out there so many first writers have a much higher reputation than mine?).

Questions also come from those who already register but do not know how to start and there rest are those who do not yet know this platform yet.

Well, let's begin.

Simple Explanatory Tips from Beginner to Beginner

  • Genuine and Honest
We are born unique, even more than our fingerprint. We are here from various background, education, gender, age, talent, environment, opportunity, and other thousand reasons. Those shaped us to see things from different perspective. Share your thought from your perspective. I guarantee you that PLAGIARISM term will never exist in the dictionary if everyone honestly expresses their ideas genuinely.
    So, stay genuine, be honest.

  • Dialogue
Open Steemit's welcoming page, scroll down until you meet the To Do List section point number 5. What does it mean to you?. Do you see it just another suggestion and does not contain any meaningful message and you just follow it as suggested or you just follow a mainstream way on how beginner while they start to use this media? a big NOOOOOOOOO........!!!.
Do not forget Steemit is a SOCIAL media.
Social definition according to Cambridge Dictionary
"relating to activities in which you meet and spend time with other people and that happen during the time when you are not working".
What to expect from a situation when people meet and spend time with others at the first time if they still do not each other?. That is why we need to make an introduction.
Knowing each other takes some time, depends on various reasons. Dialogue is the only way for us to get know each other. Remember, it is a social media. Do not lock yourself in your room, go out, meet people, and interact.
And one more suggestion, do not expect to do all activities here seen from 'money' perspective. It is a social media. We also sometimes need to write a not money baiting article, like what I am currently doing. There will be no way this article will earn many upvotes and increasing my (digital) reputation, it is not a popular topic.

  • Observe and Analyze
Just like in our real world life, we need to observe and analyze the situation in order to build a better understanding to assure our interaction with other people as hoped.
For me, currently, this is my favorite part

  • Ask
Do not hesitate to ask anything you do not know from friends. But before that, please make sure you have shown an effort to find it by yourself first.

  • Improve
"Every expert once a beginner" must be a quote that seen by anyone.
If you think not yet a good writer, learn!!.
Open yourself to any feedback from others.

  • Manage Expectation
Try your best, left the rest, calm, do not give up, do not forget happy.

  • Pray
If you believe in God lol

Note:

I was about to write it in a long article in the beginning but then I realized, the lesser is the better for beginners, too many information is enough to kill a beginner hahaha.. so that I decided to skip some parts and make it in less detail.

If you read this article and find it useful, or having some thoughts, critics, or any other form of ideas please do not hesitate to stop by and share in the comment sections. I will reply them all.
Any feedback will become a valuable information for my self-improvement.

Reputation/Vote is a reward for your hard work, never beg to get without effort

Have fun!

Dont forget to use common tag di steemit, very infortant in the first tag, bro.

Thanks for the suggestion bang Mas.
Actually i did it in purpose, I am conducting a little research here, wanting to see the Dialogue effect, how far it may impact to the visiting rate. The use of non 'popular tags' is to make sure that I can get a more 'clear' data.

welcome bang.. :D

thank you, kapan kita ngopi lagi?

Big YESSSSSSSSS... from my POV. I thought that Universe is hidden place of paradox. For me, paradox is the evidence of God's sense of humour.
