TIL Human beings cannot breathe under the water. Real experiment and photos. It will leave you shocked.
I and my girlfriend were so amazed today. We found out that humans cannot breathe under the water.
If you are not prepared for this game-changing information, it is your chance to leave before I get deeper into it.
So you stayed? Good.
I have it all documented and even scientifically proven.
The first try:
We had enough of breath to make a picture, but that is it. We had to end the mission and get back to get some air.
I thought that I am doing something wrong, so I tried again, but without my girlfriend this time (I did not want to risk her life for science):
The exact second that the tube went under the water, I began suffocating. I had to leave the water again. I must be honest - that was shocking.
I asked Gabriele to try it on her own this time. Just to make sure that it is not my fault.
Once again - she was not able to breathe under the water. We could not accept this fact.
It is time for the ultimate test. I will dive deeper into the water. Maybe that is what was missing.
What do you think have happened? Well, I like the photo, but I almost died. I almost suffocated. We had to accept the fact that humans cannot breathe under the water.
That is when I observed the fishes. They were just fine, swimming and breathing in the water.
What the hell?
Well, I knew the fact for sure now... but had to learn some theory now. What is the difference between humans and fishes?
I am so glad that we have so many professors and doctors who spend their time, writing books about things like that.

According to Dr. Beth Ann Ditkoff, fishes have gills and humans don't have gills. Would you believe?

However, there are people who think that earth is flat... It is trending at the moment.
I like conspiracy theories, but flat earth theory is one of the ideas least supported by evidence and most vulnerable to critical analysis that I have seen gain popularity of late.
Well, some flat brains must have been involved in making this theory I guess. Nonetheless, it is funny. I would be damned if it is actually true.

As for the photos, some are from Tulum and some are from Cartagena. I had to try out my scientific experiment in different places before making the conclusions lol. However, I would recommend Tulum for this kind of activity as there are so many nice beaches and also Cenotes (some cool natural water pools in the caves or thee plane nature).
The camera I used is GoPro Hero+LCD which I like a lot. GoPro is the best thing for underwater filming/photos as far as I know.

I give my word, man. I have tried it. I am still deciding whom to blame, though. At first, I was mad with God, but now I think you might be right. Probably a good decision to cancel Maldives before more news come out on this.

Well, this experiment was carried on in a few different places (all for science, you know). First one is near Tulum, Mexico and the other one at Cartagena, Colombia. I have seen some huge fish and some mega turtles. Underwater life is actually stunning.
It would be fun to try the spear. I will do it next time!
