Today I Learned That The Legal Weed Industry Is Getting On The Blockchain

Appearntly new tech will help to deal with the issues that arise from making weed legal from helping with finance and risk by using a blockchain, to, and I am not making this up, storing the DNA from canabis strains in order for growers to keep the Intellectual Property. That last one is very intreseting, not just for weed, but medicine and any other industry that makes it easier to protect your IP with an imutable ledger. I don't personally smoke, but it looks like it is only a matter of time before it becomes legal, at least in the west.
