Decorating The Christmas Tree With Young Kids

My niece and nephew are terrific kids. Since my brother doesn't have a christmas tree (anymore) we decided to ask them to help us decorate ours... this is kind of how it went...

Reality:

#TIL Kids of a certain age can only reach as far and really like putting the decorations on where they want it to be, not where you suggest it goes.

We ended up with a few broken ornaments, a big mess and a lopsided tree.
Very happy kids, singing what they know of christmas songs (which isn't a lot) and happy parents (because kids are now exhausted).

Once I manage to get all the glitter off the floor and carpets the redecorating will start.
