TIL: @NED The CEO Of Steemit Does Have Time Off From Work To Have Fun!
Hello steemit! So today i learnt something and in a pretty funny way! Basically, some people at work called me to see them and they already had GIFs of me, ready to jest at me etc.
Well, i did learn something afterall and without their knowledge! So, there is an app that can help bring some branding to your steemit page. My page and posts aren't branded but i noticed that it does more lasting impact on your audience when you blog and blogposts are sorta branded. It makes your steemit posts more fun and memorable, like @virtualgrowth for instance, i spot his post so easily everywhere and even in his reply and comments, i already know its him, for he has some sort of animated logo below his every post that tells of him.
I am thinking, i will start doing the same, so people will start remembering @surpassinggoogle in their days and perhaps my post will add a little more memories to their days as well.
Overall, more animation and colors and perhaps more humor will make steemit a more pleasant home.
Today, i learned of this app called jibjab. I have only seen it on IOS for now. It is really awesome and filled with creativity and with it, you can so easily create something #funny and memorable like the GIFs below:

The app is free but has some premium features where you can replace the faces of celebrities in endless videos!

There were many more at home but i sent it from my email to my work email and i thought it all got sent but at work say, just 3 files got sent and post like that, the others are so much more funnier really. i may edit and add them later. thank you for you comment!

awww, well said! it pleases me that you saw this post and noticed the mexican part! i did slight stunt too but not directly and nothing political, mostly for fun, just to depict like unity etc, saying that @ned was okay with any race! and yes #steemfest2 in Mexico. in the meantime i am in Philippines and i think it is visa free to Mexico!

Glad you understand now. You need a critical mass of posts for a # tag to take off - the same as Twitter. I would be most humbled if you wish to write about me :-)
yep i will but take note it is with bizzare topics. i am trying to infuse terry into the entire internet with humor and fresh stuff as i think the internet is boring and recycles info, so i may write stuff like how to get into a bubble. can i ask a sdide question. when you mention someone in a post, do they get a notification or they never know about except they incidently come across it or a bot tells them?

May I please ask @mindhunter. I notice that a hashtag in the comment like #steemfest2 for instance creates a path to a new category but may I please ask, since comments are counted as posts, why don't they appear in the categories when you visit the hashtag, for instance #steemitfest2 when you click on it Leads somewhere but it is empty
The reason why is a certain number of #'s need to be written at first before it reaches the Trending Pages etc. Say 1,000 articles mentioning it for example. I started the #nuggetized tag and its gaining critical mass slowly, but there are still not enough articles to make it to the Trending Page yet. I hope this helps.
P.S. When you click on a # remember to Select 30 Days too as the default view is only posts in the last 24 hours ;-)

i am talking of the post here, for instance earlier you left #steemfest2 in the comment. now if you click on the hashtag, it is clickable as it form a new link but you get to the page, it is all empty, even when you adjust the trending portion to the last 30 days. i am asking cos i am working on a very important post
kk i understand somethings n\better now, i follow #nuggetized and saw you got to like 10k posts now that included comments and replies. i will finish my post soon and let you see it, you will understand how my question was meant better. you have so great @mindhunter, i wont lie! i owe you a post soon. i wrote about @ned and @firepower already. and they were awesome posts i beleive. in one post, i tried to prove that @ned doesnt play chess and the other that @firepower is a short man.
Click on any #hash subject, then top right click 30 Day e.g. click #nuggetized and click 30 day ... may not work on the smartphone version ... you may need a desktop PC!
#funny is one of the most popular tags, so fill it up :-)
If you mention people like @mindhunter in comments, they need to come into your post to see it themselves. No true search bar for Steemit yet ... I just use Google to search Steemit.
kk but do you get notified if i mention you in my post or do i have to send you like a message or comment tellingyou i mentioned you then send you a link to the post?
