Fikuśne parasolki są dziś nieodłącznym elementem różnych drinków. Niewiele osób jednak wie, że skrywają one pewien sekret. Po rozłożeniu parasolki na części pierwsze w miejscach oznaczonych na poniższym zdjęciu odnajdziemy karteczki z tekstem.
Fancy umbrellas are nowadays an important part of many cocktails. Not many people know, however, that they are hiding a secret. After taking apart an umbrella you can find tiny pieces of paper in places that are circled on the picture below.
Co to jest? Jakiś rodzaj wróżby jak w chińskich ciasteczkach szczęścia? Sprawdźmy!
Oto przykładowa kartka znaleziona wewnątrz jednej z parasolek. Co jest na niej napisane? Jeśli wierzyć tłumaczowi Google, jest to coś o zapobieganiu AIDS. Dosyć specyficznie jak na wróżbę. Może jest to więc coś innego?

This is an example of a paper found inside one of the umbrellas. What does it say? If you are to trust Google Translate, it is something about preventing AIDS. Quite specific for a fortune. Maybe it's something different than?
Po szybkim przeszukaniu Internetu i próbie skontaktowania się z producentem można stwierdzić, że te "wróżby" to w rzeczywistości chińska makulatura. Większość takich parasolek jest "made in China", a Chińczycy żeby zaoszczędzić pieniądze używają do produkcji starych gazet.
After a quick search on the Internet and trying to contact the manufacturer we can say that this "fortune" is actually Chinese waste paper. Most of these umbrellas are made in China and Chinese people are using old newspapers during the production process to save money.
Mimo wszystko nie przeszkadza to żeby trochę się zabawić i podczas następnej nudnej imprezy lub leniwego wakacyjnego dnia potraktować te karteczki jako prawdziwe wróżby. No bo w końcu czy są one mniej wiarygodne od jakichś losowych przepowiedni znalezionych w ciasteczkach szczęścia?
Nevertheless it doesn't prevent you from having some fun and pretending it is a real fortune during the next boring party or a lazy summer day. After all, are they less believable than some predictions found in Chinese cookies?
