TIL: HOW TO SWIM!!!
When @papa-pepper came to Springfield, MO for the weekend for the Ozark Area Steemit Meetup and the 25th Episode of the Steemit Talk Podcast, he brought the rest of his tribe to town as well.
You wouldn’t believe some of the adventures that the @little-peppers had with @mama-pepper over the weekend, (at least you won’t believe until we post about it), but we had some great family fun too! One of the excellent milestones in life that we reached this weekend was that Sweet-Pepper learned how to do some swimming by herself!
At first, it was a little slow-going, but she really got the hang of it eventually. Now, being a two year old, she did use a floatation device and a fun noodle, but still. These photos and video were taken about half-way through, which means that she grew even more comfortable with it as time went on.
Most interesting in the small world of steemit is that the hotel we stayed as was right across the street from where Mr. @winstonwolfe used to work! The @little-peppers got to see him in person too over the weekend.
Good for you Sweet-Pepper!
One of the best things that I learned to do in my life was learn to swim WELL. It is a fun skill and it has allowed me to have many SAFE adventures! I LOVE swimming and it looks like you do too!
Pinkie-Pepper, I love your mask! Guess what? Many years ago I learned to scuba dive and I have even explored sunken ships! To get my scuba liscence one of the things that I had to do was swim the length of the pool 10 times without stopping!
See you next time,
@kus-knee (The Old Dog)
Fun times!
