TIL that my daughter can actually have fun at the park! :)

If you have been following some of my recent posts, you may recall that I wrote a couple about my trip to the park with my 1 year old baby daughter. It doesn't sound that exciting, but to her it really was her first experience with the great outdoors!

Thankfully, each time we have gone, it has gotten a little better. I say "thankfully" because the first time we went looked something like this:

As you can see, it was a complete disaster! She screamed and cried her little head off the entire time. She was especially upset when we brought her near the slide, that seemed to cause the most fear. The second time was better, but still not great:

She did much better with all the other parts of the park than she had previously, but as you can see, she still wasn't too sure about that slide. However, as you can see below, when her big brother got up there to show her the way she decided it wasn't nearly so scary:

The most recent trip was a much different story... As you can see below, not only did she not scream and cry, but she stormed around like she owned the place! Even the slide was no match for her:

So for us, the 3rd park visit was the charm. She has gained confidence with each visit and I would imagine she will be telling me to let her go on her own pretty soon! Ugh... it seems like just yesterday she couldn't even lift her head up on her own! They sure do grow up fast! :)
